My love for Africa started from a young age. Growing up in The Netherlands we visited family living in South Africa. Then, at the end of university, I travelled with three friends in a 20-year old Land Rover from Amsterdam to Cape Town. That sealed the deal for me. I moved to South Africa and have been based in Johannesburg for more than 30 years.

I am still as much in awe of some of the places I visited as when I first saw them. Even after seeing some many, many times. That feeling of awe, of “I just want to be here”, of “this is what makes it all worth it”, that is the feeling I want to share. I will ensure that you also will have feeling through putting the most amazing journeys together that, if not money, your budget can buy.

As for favourite places? Too many to fit into one trip. You’ll have to and will come again to Africa.

Matlou Tsotetsi

I am a classically trained marketer with a special focus on building brands in Africa.

My career started in at Fairlady magazine and then went to work for the Proudly South African campaign and Edcon.

In 2008, I left corporate employment and joined Maverick Media before starting Cupcake Advertising in South Africa and Ellen Grace in Nigeria.

I am also the brand and sponsorship director and member of the international committee of the All Africa Music Awards, run in association with the African Union Commission.

Lorena Lema

I was born in Argentina and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I have always been fascinated by food, people and different cultures. Spanish is my home language and I’ve taught my language at a language academy, been in the Inbound tourism industry, for 28 years and I love South Africa.

I love selling this country, we have such diversity and passion, alot of raw beauty to see in South Africa…
